Big Blue was founded in the city of Rio de Janeiro in October of 1991 for the purpose of dealing exclusively in hardware technical support, originally specializing in large environments including all models of mainframes and their peripherals of the day.

Beginning in 2001, Big Blue came to also work on the RISC platform, offering its clients the same quality and security it had guaranteed with the mainframes.

Over the years, Big Blue made partnerships with system integrators on the Intel® platform to sell and provide guarantees and servers, broadening its field of operation to the three platforms existing today: Mainframes, Unix, and CISC. It pioneered in this, becoming the first service company in the Brazilian market to be effectively multi-platform and multi-brand.

In order to maintain its leadership in its market of operation, the company invested in storage solutions and server consolidation in the blade architecture, with excellence not only in after-sales support, but in pricing. With efficiency and the usual quality, it came to meet the demand for virtualization of IT environments for several of its clients, duly certifying its specialists and Business Managers.

Having strategic alliances, Big Blue maintained an important synergy to offer solutions of consolidation and virtualization of servers, information security and cryptography,  electronic data management and monitoring/management of complex environments including applications.

Focused on both the present and on the future, the formula is the same: to grow with responsibility and solidity, developing IT solutions that meet the expectations of our present and future clients. PROACTIVITY is our main distinction.
